A MAIN road in Cumbria is now open after a three vehicle collision.
The A590 in Greenodd was closed with queuing traffic between the A5092 junction and the Roam Wood junction, because of an accident.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene at 8.20am to reports of a three vehicle collision.
The vehicles below were involved in the accident:
- A Red Skoda Fabia, driven by a 54-yea-old female from Lancashire
- A grey Renault Scenic, driven by a 43-year-old woman from Ulverston
- A Silver Vauxhall driven by a 48-year-old woman from Ulverston.
All three drivers received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
The road was closed for a time following the collision to allow police investigation and for recovery of vehicles.
