POLICE are still making inquiries and working through CCTV footage to find two brutal robbers that attacked a man and stole his phone. 

The attacked happened at around 4am on Sunday August 30 in Barrow. 

A 21-year-old man who was making his way home after a night out was attacked by two men round the back of Furness Magistrates Court. 

They punched him in the face and knocked him to the floor before stealing his phone and running off in the direction of Shakespeare Street. 

Detective Sergeant Mike Wallace of Barrow CID said: "No arrest have been made yet but inquiries are still ongoing. 

"We are looking through CCTV footage in and around the location. 

"Anyone who knows anything about who these two men are should get in contact with Cumbria Police on 101."

One of the men was described as being around 19-years-old, approximately six foot tall and slim with short blonde hair. 

He was wearing a light coloured tracksuit jacket. 

The other man was described as being in his late teens or early 20s, also of slim build and about six foot in height. 

He had dark hair and was wearing a similar tracksuit jacket which was slightly darker in colour.
