POLICE have released both men arrested after the sudden death of a 35-year-old woman.

The female was pronounced dead at a property on Anson Street on Tuesday (21).

Barrow CID said they attended the Barrow address at 10.50am following a report of concerns for welfare of a woman.

A spokesman said: "A 35-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

"The woman's family have been informed and the coroner has been updated."

Two Barrow men, aged 18 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs but have now been bailed until October 26.
