THE massive Monster Monster night returns to the Coronation Hall next weekend, teaming up with the Homegrown DJs once more to bring another major event to Ulverston.

The town's biggest regular indoor show is back with another strong line-up - this time under the banner Welcome to the Jungle.

A huge name in house music features on the bill, as Utah Saints are back as headline guests on the Bombstrikes Block Party.

Since the birth of the genre, Tim Utah and Jez Willis have been making music and touring the globe. The world-renowned duo have released nine Top 40 UK hits, sold more than two million records, and have supported some of the world's biggest acts, such as U2 on a European tour.

Their 20-year reign has seen them walk the tightrope between genres and also between the underground and the mainstream. Away from the UK's biggest clubs and major festivals, they can be found in the studio working hard on their new material and also remixing other artists. These have included everyone from Bring Me The Horizon to the Stone Roses, their most recent being DJ Fresh.

As well as running their own Sugarbeat label, the duo have also released their own compilation in 2013 called Electronic Bass Music and have also recently taken the number one slot on Beatport with their Soundpack Collection.

South coast DJ and producer Featurecast makes the long journey up with the aim of justifying his tag as one of the brightest prospects in hip-hop, funk, and drum 'n' bass.

Having received plaudits from the likes of Krafty Kuts, DJ Yoda, Z-Trip and dropped sets along side De La Soul, Mark Ronson, DJ Fresh, Wilkinson and Stanton Warriors, this is his first appearance at the Coro, having starred at a Homegrown event in Ulverston back in 2014.

Also on that same bill was Mooqee, who completes the line-up of visiting names on the bill here. A regular at London superclub Fabric, he is credited with helping to launch the careers of Featurecast and fellow innovator A.Skillz. He holds the record for the top selling track of all time on Junodownload, and in 2012 picked up the Biggest Hip Hop Track of the Year title at the Beatport music awards.

As ever, Monster Monster and the Homegrown DJs will also be performing their own sets, bringing a genre-bending mash-up of ghettofunk, jungle, house, funk, soul and breakbeats among other things, as they keep things going late into the night.

Add to this mix the acclaimed Deatbeats samba drum band, jungle and tribal-themed visuals, dancers and décor, and guests who are encouraged to dress for the Welcome to the Jungle theme.

The show on Saturday May 14 gets under way at 8pm and tickets are available from the venue, The Sun Inn in Ulverston, All-Style Tattoos in Barrow or Skiddle.com
