ANIMAL Welfare has rehomed many of its kittens in the last week, but it is still taking on more of them most days.

Three little ten week old male kittens have been hand-reared by a lady after their mother was sadly killed.

They are beautiful all black kittens who are curious about everything and extremely friendly.

The shelter in Rawlinson Street, Barrow, is also looking after a 12-week old ginger kitten who a little bit shy but would make a wonderful pet once he had settled into a new loving home.

There is also a brother and sister tabby and white and tortoiseshell and white little ones who can be rehomed separately.

The litter of feral kittens featured last week have already progressed in the hands of their carers and have become a lot easier to handle.

Animal Welfare is confident they will grow up to be regular friendly cats and they have  virtually stopped hissing at people and they can be stroked.

Becka is a lovely young female cat who really deserves her own forever home after bringing up her two kittens who have since been rehomed.

Becka was found in a shed with her two kittens and brought in by a kind man hoping the charity could find them all homes.

She proved to be a wonderful mother and is a sweet natured cat who know needs her own permanent home.
