FIREFIGHTERS rescued a woman from a car which had reversed into a wall.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was called to Eamont Close, Walney, yesterday evening after a car collided into the community centre.
Firefighters attended the scene and worked with paramedics they removed the trapped woman from a Ford Kuga car.
Cumbria police said the woman was taken to Furness General Hospital in Barrow. She was understood to have minor injuries.
