High winds caused structural problems at that section of the Craven Park ground earlier this month, which led to the top half of the wall being knocked down by builder Neil Martin.
Yesterday saw 85-year-old Cliff Hindle, along with grandsons Chris and Liam Hindle – of Hindle Demolition – working on the affected area.
Raiders host their second of five pre-season games against Championship club Workington Town on Sunday (3pm) and that section of the ground is set to be roped off and stewarded as a precautionary measure.
The aim is to replace the removed section with fencing, in order to avoid any possible damage in the future.
