BARROW Raiders Craven Park ground has passed an early morning inspection and the game against Keighley Cougars will go ahead today (kick-off 3pm).

The friendly – Barrow's fourth pre-season game - had been threatened following atrocious weather conditions, but Sunday's check gave the pitch the thumbs up.

Barrow and Keighley clashed four times last year with the Raiders winning at this stage of the season and progressing the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup at the expense of the Cougars, but Keighley did the double over Paul Crarey's team in their League One clashes.

The Raiders host Rochdale Hornets in the iPro Sport Cup first round on Sunday, February 21, with that match kicking off at 3.30pm.
