TV explorer in show on tribes

TV explorer Piers Gibbons presents a live show at the Theatre by the Lake on Sunday.

Tribe: Endangered Peoples of the World is based on his popular book of the same title, and explores some of the world’s most diverse communities and extraordinary cultures.

He is known for his various television series, including The Witch Doctor Will See You Now, Headshrinkers of the Amazon and Dining with Cannibals. He will be heading to Keswick to discuss some of his extreme experiences around the world.

With fascinating images, audiences will be introduced to some of the last existing tribal communities, showing them as intimate groups that are part of the wider world.

Recounting some of his unforgettable journeys, he explores the beliefs and social patterns of human identity and belonging of each tribe.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the venue’s box office.
